Can anyone tell me
places that I might be able to hire a
satellite phone from in
Sydney. We will be away for 12 weeks approx and need to be able to access the
internet while away in
Cape York etc. All help would be great.

If you need one for only for about 2 weeks a year its ok .
But for 12 weeks may be better of to buy , have a look at ebay they come up all the time.
I was just looking on ebay then myself for one.

Google sat phone hire and theres three or so
places that do it. They freight them to you and you can freight them back, so for example if you're doing the canning u can get it friehgted to one end and then freight it out from the other end rather than pay for the time you are running along the blacktop.

I hired one for a cape trip but would not do it again. I would buy one second hand and sell it when I returned.
